A 24-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, originally from Botoşani County, tried to enroll at the Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences at the “Ştefan cel Mare” University based on Baccalaureate diplomas which, according to the police, “Raises reasonable suspicions of forgery”, informstruth”.
On Wednesday, around 2.30 pm, representatives of the Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences from the “Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava filed a complaint with the University Office within the Suceava Police, regarding the fact that two of the Baccalaureate diplomas submitted by two candidates for admission files raise reasonable suspicions of forgery.
The information was confirmed by the spokesman of the Suceava Police Inspectorate, Ionuţ Epureanu. The diplomas were submitted by a 30-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from Botosani.
„A criminal file was drawn up under the aspect of committing the offenses of forgery in documents under private signature and use of forgery, deeds provided and punished by art. 322 and 323 of the Criminal Code, the investigations being continued by the policemen from the Suceava Municipality Police under the coordination of the prosecutor’s office unit “, Ionuţ Epureanu declared.
