MotoGP races at Mugello and Catalunya postponed. The season starts not before 21 Jun

The press service of the MotoGP released an official statement, which reported on the postponement of the Grand Prix of Italy and Catalonia for an indefinite period due to pandemic coronavirus. The race at Mugello had to go through 31 may, and in Barcelona on 7 June.

“In a constantly changing environment a new date for these Grand Prix, as the pending stages in Jerez and Le Mans, it is not possible to declare. A revised calendar will be published in the near future”, — said the press service.

Thus, the first stage of the season at the moment is the Grand Prix of Germany. The race is scheduled for June 21.

The outbreak of the disease caused by a coronavirus, was recorded at the end of December 2019 in the most densely populated city in Central China — 12-million city of Wuhan. Currently stopped holding almost all sporting events.
