Men’s world Cup 2020 Curling cancelled due to the spread of the coronavirus

Men’s world Cup Curling 2020 cancelled due to the spread of the coronavirus. The tournament was held from 28 March to 5 April in Glasgow (Scotland).

“Following the recommendations of the Scottish government, with deep regret we are forced to cancel the world championship on Curling among men. Our main priority is the safety and welfare of athletes, officials, staff and fans, but now it can not be guaranteed. I Express my sincere gratitude to our athletes and other persons for the patience and understanding of the issue”, — quotes the words of the WCF President Kate Caithness, the world Curling Federation (WCF).

It is noted that the WCF will consider the possibility of change the order of the set of qualifying points for the Olympic games.
