“Manchester United” has filed a lawsuit against the makers of Football Manager

Representatives of the British football club “Manchester United” remained dissatisfied with how their brand uses the developer of the popular computer game Football Manager. As reported by ESPN, the lawyers United have filed a lawsuit against Sega and Sports Interactive, who produce the game.

“Manchester United” not satisfied that the game referred to the brand of the club, however, do not use the official logo — it is replaced with a simplistic red-white icon.

Interestingly, the game is available since 1992 and in all versions of the game logo “MJ” was presented a red-white icon. While the British side never had anything against it.
