LaLiga declares Juan Cala innocent of the insults of a racist nature that were charged against the Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby. The investigation conducted by the body that governs the main Spanish football competitions did not find elements that blamed the Spanish. “After the analysis of the elements, it is concluded that no in any of the supports available in LaLiga any proof that the player Juan Torres Ruiz (Juan Cala) insulted Mouctar Diakhaby in the terms reported ”, says an official document issued by the organization.
The communiqué sets forth the methodology that was used to carry out the investigations. “Specifically, the audiovisual and digital files available have been examined, the audios of the meeting, the images broadcast and what was disseminated on the different social networks have been analyzed,” he explains. “In order to complement the report, a specialized company has been hired, which has performed an analysis of lip reading conversations and a study of the behavior of the players Juan Torres Ruiz (Juan Cala) and Mouctar Diakhaby ”, he adds.

Valencia reacted to the LaLiga report. The club was emphatic. “Based on the videos and sound tests available, the investigation cannot confirm “ALL” the words that Diakhaby heard in the 28th minute of the Cádiz CF-Valencia CF match disputed last Sunday. That no evidence has been found does not mean that this event did not occur ”, he maintains.
“Valencia CF wants to highlight that LaLiga has carried out its own investigation, but in no case does the Club change its opinion about what happened during the match and maintains its full support for Diakhaby. Our goal is to see a change, to see an appropriate response to this serious incident, to see movement to change regulations and attitudes when dealing with these types of problems every time they arise ”, he adds.
The club values, yes, that LaLiga has tried to clarify the events that occurred in Cádiz and that conversations have been started to establish new protocols related to the fight against racism in football.
