Karjakin will play chess with an astronaut on the ISS

Russian grandmaster Sergey Karjakin said that he will hold a chess match with astronaut Anatoly Ivanishin. Ivanishin is located on the International space station (ISS).

“On June 9 to play chess with cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin,” wrote Karyakin on Twitter.

We will remind, the Russian made it to the playoffs of the tournament in rapid chess Rapid Challenge Lindores Abbey. In the playoffs Karjakin will play against compatriot Daniil Dubov.
