Formula 1 today announced the launch of a new series of virtual Grand Prix F1 Esports, which will be attended by several fighter pilots of Formula-1.
“Series F1 Esports was created to ensure that fans can continue to watch Formula 1 races almost, despite the ongoing pandemic coronavirus COVID-19, which affected the calendar of the starting races of the season in 2020.
The virtual race will take place instead of each of the pending Grand Prix and will start the stage in Bahrain on Sunday, 22 March, 23:00 GMT.
Because of the large diversity of levels of skills among the pilots, the game settings will be configured in such a way as to provide competitive and entertaining racing game. This includes equal the performance of a car with fixed settings, reducing car damage, and extra anti-lock brakes and traction control for those less familiar with the game” — the official website of Formula 1.
