Federer: it’s hard to imagine tennis in an empty stadium. In my head it does not fit

Swiss Roger Federer commented on the possible resumption of the competition in an empty stadium. Earlier it became known that from the next few tournaments of “Grand slam” may take place without spectators.

“I did not fit in the head, how can we play without spectators. I honestly can’t imagine. I hope that in the end did not happen.

I, for example, even in training unusual to play. So I think that we all need to wait for the moment when the tennis will be able to return in the usual way. At least, the stands should be filled at least a third. I can’t imagine a big tournament in an empty stadium” — quoted Federer Globo Esporte.

Recall that the tennis season was suspended and will resume no earlier than Aug. Athletes are on the isolation and keep in shape at home. Flash COVID-19 was recorded late last year in Wuhan (China).
