On August 20 this year, at 8.30 pm, a concert will take place in Vaidava Lake, with the participation of the musicians’ association “Nepāriet” with Imants Kalniņš’s music program “For Things It Never Passes”. The concert will take place on the water – in Lake Vaidava, with musicians and listeners in boats.

According to the organizers, it will be a special evening on the lake – together we will welcome the sunset at 20:48. With this concert, the musicians’ association will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the outstanding composer Imants Kalniņš.
The association “Do not move” is formed by Alise Joste, Evija Vēbere, Jānis Šipkēvics, Kārlis Josts, Lorete Medne, Matiss Chudar, Mikēlis Putniņš and Rinalds Maksimovs.

The musical association “Nepāriet” was established in 2017, when the musician Jānis Šipkēvics gathered like-minded people to perform Imants Kalniņš’s music together and in 2019 to release the album “Pāri” and give a concert tour in various Latvian cities.
Tickets can be purchased at “Biļešu paradīze” box offices. The number of boats is limited! Arrive at the venue at least two hours in advance – from 18.30. The concert is intended for visitors only on water vehicles.
Upon arrival at the event, a valid Digital Covid-19 Certificate must be presented, certifying that vaccinations have been performed, that Covid-19 has developed, or that the results of laboratory tests have been performed.
