U.S. researchers said that even small doses of aspirin help reduce the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. As reported by MedicalXpress, in the course of the study, the researchers conducted experiments on mice.
Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease in which T cells of the immune system starts to destroy the protective myelin sheath of nerves. From this disease suffer 2.3 million people worldwide.
The researchers gave aspirin to mice that had been grown specifically for the study of the human form of multiple sclerosis. It turned out that even small doses of the drug (around 81 milligram “baby” aspirin) reduce the symptoms of multiple sclerosis in mice.
Moreover, according to scientists, aspirin is struggling not only with the symptoms of multiple sclerosis, but the disease. While taking the drug, the myelin sheath breaks down much slower. Destructive infiltration of T cells into the spinal cord also decreased when mice were transferred on an aspirin regime.
Earlier we wrote that the Turkish doctors from the University “MEDPOL” said that the adoption of regular aspirin increases male potency. The scientific work of specialists was published in Renal and Urology News.
It is reported that as the object of research was made by 184 men suffering from erectile dysfunction. Their average age was 48 years. Within six weeks of the men took a placebo and the rest were drinking 100-milligramme aspirin.
After this experiment proved that using aspirin men the number of successful intercourse increased from 31% to 78%.
Recall that excessive intake of salt provokes inflammation in people suffering from multiple sclerosis.
As reported by the portal “Znayu” data analysis of hundreds of thousands of American women showed that regular consumption of low-dose aspirin (100 mg) reduces the risk of ovarian cancer by 23 %.
Also “Znayu” wrote that doctors found a mutation in the genes that leads to the emergence of a rare disease syndrome Saul-Wilson or dwarfism.
