The mayor, on his side, has once again defended, in the face of his opponents and to the people of the district of Noailles, plagued by habitat unsanitary and dilapidated.

“What upsets me, regretted Jean-Claude Gaudin, is to seem to say that we would not have made the effort necessary on this policy of eradication of the habitat unworthy. I’ve started a long time ago. So today, in front of such a drama, there must be a scapegoat. Of course, a mayor in a city is always in charge of everything. I did not escape this.”

Anyway, an investigation was opened by the prosecutor of Marseilles, entrusted to the judicial police, to shed light on the unfolding of the drama, its causes. And determine any possible responsibilities.
