Severance – American town located in the state of Colorado. Here for nearly 100 years operated a very unusual ban on playing in the snow. It recently was canceled. All thanks to 9-year-old student.
This fall, a boy named Dane best went on an excursion to city hall with his classmates. Here they learned about the strange laws applicable to Severance. The mayor told the children about the resolution of 1920 according to which it is forbidden to throw stones and other throwing objects at people, animals, buildings, trees and vehicles. In fact, these include snowballs.
The authorities never supported the ban. But, in case of necessity, they must take action. Interesting is that nobody knew exactly how to punish violators, among which, incidentally, may be the children of the mayor and his colleagues.
Dani impressed with what he heard, and he decided to fix it. The student created a petition, gathered with classmates 20 signatures in his support and made a presentation.
In 5 minutes he explained why a ban on the game, you need to remove. The boy said that the people of Severance, have should have the right to throw snowballs, like other inhabitants of the world. It is objectively called the law outdated. The mayor and city Council supported the best. They not only lifted the ban and gave Dani the original device, which you can mold snowballs.
After the presentation, the boy promised that the first thing will throw a snowball at his younger brother.
