This is to compensate for the trees removed for safety reasons.

This Thursday, November 8, the department of the Hérault has started its reforestation operation, with nearly 400 trees that will be planted on 11 sites in the road network and in particular in Saint-Paul-et-Valmalle, Bédarieux, Caylar, Pézenas…

Each year, this will be 500 trees (hackberry, linden trees, maples, oaks and almond trees) that will be replanted to replace those that were uprooted by measure of security. Moreover, on 17 November, 100 trees will be planted to Pouzols by the Eclaireuses and Eclaireurs of France.

The Department combines the Héraultais his approach with the chance to sponsor a tree, giving it its name. For this year, the sponsorship is complete, but it takes over the next year.
