Recently it became known about a unique find. In the United Kingdom found a vast unknown handwritten collection of poems of John Donne— metaphysical poet, priest and preacher. It was discovered in a country house Melford house in the English County of Suffolk for the expert auction house Sotheby’s Dr Gabriel Heaton. For the ability to speak simultaneously about the earthly and the divine donn received among later critics the nickname “the metaphysician”. Today Donne is considered the founder of the “metaphysical school” of English poets of the first half of the XVII century.
