Preparation time: less than 30 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
750 ml dry red wine
500 ml orange juice
2 cinnamon sticks
125 g brown sugar
1. Mix in a saucepan the orange juice with red wine. Add sugar, cinnamon sticks, orange wedges and zest.
2. Heat the pan on low heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Cook over low heat without boiling for 10 minutes.
3. Pour in mugs and serve hot. Optionally decorate with the orange slices.
