Two-time world champion Formula 1 Fernando Alonso quickly learned in virtual races. After an unsuccessful debut last week, when the Spaniard didn’t finish in either of the two races he participated in one phase of a virtual “Cup of Legends”, which was held on the track in Indianapolis.
In the first race Alonso in a tense struggle ahead of the finish of another world champion Formula 1 Jenson Button. The distance between them amounted to 0,037 seconds. Third place went to Jan Magnussen.
The second race was started on the principle of reverse the starting grid so Alonso had to break from the end of the peloton. However, he coped with this task and eventually won the victory. Second place went to Tiago Monteiro, the top three locked Elio Castroneves.
