The Stars eliminate the Predators

DALLAS – John Klingberg scored at 5:02 in overtime and the Dallas Stars won 2-1 against Nashville, eliminating the Predators in six games in the first round.
A lexander Radulov handed over to Klingberg in the right circle, and the latter ended the debate with a wrist shot.

The Stars will face the Blues of Saint-Louis in the second round. All will start in Missouri. Dallas has not passed the second round since 2008.

The Predators and Stars were tied 1-1 after the three regulation periods.

Austin Watson, with his first goal of the series, allowed the Predators to open the scoring at 5:47 of the first period. PK Subban deserved help with the game

The Stars tied the score with Blake Comeau’s first goal at 5:20 of the middle period.

While there was 1:53 left in the third period, Comeau was caught off track for tripping but the Stars held out to push the meeting into overtime.

Over the first 60 minutes of play, the Predators collected 40 shots for Ben Bishop while Pekka Rinne faced 37 shots.

Rinne finally made 49 saves, three more than Bishop.
