Fire in Hebertville: the identity of the victims unveiled

The identity of the two people who died in the fire of a Hébertville residence in Lac-Saint-Jean on April 11 was unveiled on Tuesday morning by the Surete du Quebec. They are the occupant of the residence, Francois Pelletier, 60 years old, and Sabin Duchesne, 55 years old.
The causes and circumstances of the event are still under investigation.

Recall that the bodies of the two men were found in the rubble of a residence of Caron rank that caught fire early in the morning on April 11. The building was completely burned when firefighters arrived from Métabetchouan-Lac-à-La-Croix, Hébertville, Saint-Gédéon and Desbiens. The firefighters’ work was complicated by the lack of a nearby fire hydrant, the insulation of the sawdust building and the fact that the residence was surrounded by trees.
